OUR STORIES ARE ROOTED IN FOUR PILLARS
I. HOLINESS
Real lives, raw moments. Just as Christ taught through parables, we believe witness can draw people to Him.
II. VOCATIONS
Holiness takes form. We elevate the lived callings of marriage, priesthood, and consecrated life.
III. BEAUTY
In a culture of spectacle, we aim to recover what is timeless and true—inviting contemplation over consumption.
In the age of simulation, we bring people back to what’s tangible, human, and incarnational.
IV. THE REAL

If you have a mission worth telling, and a story rooted in truth, we want to help tell it.
The Founders
Frankincense Media is led by Charles Adams and Jonathan DiMaria, filmmakers committed to telling stories that reveal what is often overlooked: beauty, the real, and holiness.
Charles, a John Paul the Great Catholic University graduate, and John, a graduate from Franciscan University, each bring a shared foundation in the craft of filmmaking, and a lived commitment to the faith.
After 2 years in missionary work, Charles came to recognize that what often stands between people and the Gospel isn’t information—it’s witness. That conviction shapes the direction and narrative clarity of their work. Alongside this, John contributes a strong creative instinct and visual sensibility, helping to shape the artistic direction of each project. Together, their collaboration balances structure and storytelling with intuition and creativity, allowing each film to be both disciplined and alive. Frankincense was founded as a response to a shared vision: to present Christ through media that is not only well-made, but genuinely compelling.
WHY FRANKINCENSE?
The name Frankincense Media is not just symbolic—it’s foundational.
In Scripture, frankincense was offered in worship. It signified reverence, presence, and holiness. It was brought to Jesus in a manger—an offering laid in poverty and devotion.
We take that name seriously.
Like the Magi, we come bearing something meaningful. Each story we craft is a kind of offering: media that serves both the Church and those still searching. We aim to meet places of spiritual and cultural poverty—with beauty, reverence, and hope.
Our mission is not simply to tell the truth, but to reveal it—through storytelling that invites others to the manger.
